Sol Fittipaldi

Sol Fittipaldi is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Gillan Lab and Global Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute (UCSF, US & Trinity College Dublin, Ireland). Her current research involves the use of ecological digital data to understand the interaction between social function (i.e., loneliness, social network), affect and cognition across the lifespan. She is also interested in the validation of digital biomarkers for dementia detection across underrepresented populations from Latin America. Before joining the Gillan Lab, Sol was awarded her PhD in Neuroscience in Argentina and received additional research training at the Latin American Brain Health Institute (BrainLat) in Chile, of which she is now active member. She has published 35+ articles in peer-reviewed journals.
